Chinatown Boom Boom
Got outa camp early yday, after lotsa fracas.

Joined Huiboon for some photography around Chinatown to soak in the festive mood. Took some random pics coz I didn't quite see anything really interesting. Dunno y but the mood has changed from celebrative to consumerish. Crowd wasnt as bad as I thought. Heard from Yanling that when she went at night the crowd was mad, heh.

Walked from Chinatown to Esplanade. Just in time to set up for the fireworks display at the opening of River Hongbao. Saw some EOD guys. Felt kinda sian walking past hordes of photographers with their digi-SLRs. Probably the most amusing thing to happen to me in a while was this guy who set up next to me. He took out this huge digi-SLR and starting calling his Professor via handphone, asking for operating instructions and settings. Chey, not all pros look pro ok..hehehe. Great sense of satisfaction as all my shots turned out pretty nicely, albeit leaving the shutter open too little and not capturing the full trail of the fireworks properly.

Home after that. Pleasant evening. Pics below!

Doing spring cleaning today. Found this really cute tool in my cupboard. Think my dad chucked it in there some time ago.

Cute mini vacuum for cleaning keyboard etc.
