Ever wonder how people get caught up in their busy schedules and numerous commitments and you end up drifting further away from them? Or vice versa?
Just met up with Weichang @ clementi central. Caught up quite a bit, yet I guess her schedule and all is getting her really bogged down. Dinner at coffeeshop, then KFC for chit-chat. It can be an enjoyment to slow down once in a while in your fast-paced life to ponder and catch up with the things/people around you that you have overtaken.
Rainy night. Reminds me of Monday. Bought my new shoes then. Think the only other things I'm buying for CNY are a pair of new jeans and a non-leather belt. Kinda broke due to investment in my ongoing t-shirt project. Saving up too heh. What with the raising rates of hostel in uni and etc etc. Still feeling a bit weird that I blew almost 1/5 of my salary on my shoes. Ah well, guess it's kinda worth it.
Thoughtful night. Great for jazz, wish I had some.
