Woot! It's 2006 ppl!! Rock the house down!!! (ok just jokin..)
Countdown last night. Kiasu-syndrome made me chop place near the flyover opposite Marina at 8pm. Met up with JJ for dinner then camped there and stoned. Turned out it was pretty useless since everyone came only like about 10pm onwards. Sighzz.
Fireworks started at 12am. Junyi, Fengrun and Chris(their mutual friend)joined us too. Overexposed photos...crap. Display was fantastic tho..lasted for about 10-15 mins. Noise was awesome. Crowd went wild.. Think this is prob the only fireworks display I've enjoyed thoroughly in my entire life. Breathtaking...yes that's the word.
The way back was bad....no more buses, so ended up walking down to City Hall above ground (citylink was closed by the time we got there). Suay suay genna chased out by security guards, claiming that the last train was gone..but it wasn't even 1.30am!! Junyi and I made our way back to Suntec to find Chris n Fengrun.
Couldn't get into Suntec. They were still chilling at Macs coz of jam in cpk (fortunately). Tried all entrances to no avail. Finally found one. Stayed till Macs closed at 2am. Chris gave us a ride home, but not before losing his car in the massive Suntec cpk and getting a ride from the Suntec buggy uncle. ROXX.
Reached home at 3am. Dead.
And now for my New Year Resolutions:
1) ORD peacefully and not get called back for lost items/unnecessary stuff.
2) Do better and more design.
3) Launch that T-shirt label i've been wanting.
4) Organize more gatherings that rock.
5) Treat people around me better and with more sensitivity.
6) Find a girlfriend
7) Enjoy uni.
Nope Kian Hai I'm not doing the unrealistic ones haha..
