These 2 days have been hectic, in 2 really different kinda ways.
Was on off yday. Morning was spent playing badminton at the CC with my sis. Did not expend all energy but nevertheless a good workout after so many weeks of inactivity. Becoming sluggish.
Met up with HB in the afternoon to walk around the islands checking out more design events. Somehow 3 out of 4 of the places we went to did not seem to have any sign of the events being there at all. Headed to the place I knew had something on, which was the History Museum, and re-checked out Phunk Studio's exhibit.
Had to leave around 6 for my (camp)department's ORD function at Merchant Court just round the corner. Place was good, although I must say I've seen much better international buffets. Not a very good turnout but sufficient I guess. The big boss was late. I'm not sure why but his face always looks so stern...(shivers).
Rushed down to Shaw Towers to meet Jim to catch Harry Potter 4 : Goblet Of Fire right after lunch. Made it just in time. The movie was good, much better-linked than part 3. Emma Watson was damn chio lor...haha. Anyway ya the actors are growing up pretty nicely I must say. Go catch the movie if u can. Reached home at 12.30am.
Slept in quite a bit today till 10am. Lazed around a while after breakfast b4 deciding to pop down to get my debit card/savings acc done. Counter staff was extremely helpful. Haha, but a tad too soft-spoken, I almost couldn't hear what she was saying. Had to keep leaning forward, which looked kinda er...weird.
Spent the rest of the day at home tidying up my room, surfing the net, and then after dinner just now started to stop procrastinating and start on the Dummy RP figurines I was supposed to draw/colour. Spent like 2 hrs in Photoshop working on the thing, then almost collapsed.
Pretty fulfilling two days.
Tmr's Mikayla's(my niece) bday party. Going early to Audrey's (my cousin) to help set up the function room. Rather nice weekend. Accomplished and satisfied feeling. Next wk onwards gonna be bz and even more hectic..wheww. Wish me luck.
