Being involved in this exhibition showcasing WITS projects in SAFTI. Army Pride Day as they call it.
My booth is tiny, and well, let's just say today's rehearsal was kinda screwed. The first 3+ hrs of being there, I 1) had breakfast 2) walked around SAFTI 3) switched on the laptop and let the presentation run by itself. Subsequently what happened was 1) I tried out Operation Flashpoint and got 'killed' numerous times 2) laptop died on me just as they were doing the vetting 3) waited with AO for 20 mins before we could get a cab outa the place.
Tomorrow looks promising..well not too promising. Think I'll bring some drawing materials and my field chair. Stupid place has NO seats for the presenters. Sigh.
Next week's clear leave week..woot!
