Been up to my neck with stuff in camp since my last update.
Had Openhouse on the 20th, a sat. That was the most hectic week I've ever experienced in this camp. Thursday (18th) had to help out at some Army idol event at Chevrons. Left around 11pm. Friday was my guard duty (24hrs), and on Saturday morning, I went off to start the Openhouse marshalling even before fall-out timing. Fortunately I managed to take off on the Monday after that.
Off day Monday was spent on rest and recreation. Went with Yim for a game of badminton at Hougang Sports Hall in the morning. Left me with aching arms, wrist etc. Reminder to self: ALWAYS do warm up n cool down stretching b4 game.
The rest of the week was filled with odd jobs. Took half day off on Thurs, intending to rest. Ended up having a headache coz the apartment downstairs was having some renovations thingy going on. Owwww...what a waste of time.
Friday duty (again a Fri), and came back this morning only. Sometimes I really hate the things going on in camp, the kind of attitudes ppl have towards duty, and their amazing lack of a sense of responsibility.
Anyway, met up with the AES guys for dinner at Suntec Kushimbo. Cost a bomb, but ate till I felt like puking. Never have I digested so much jap cuisine at one shot before. Bleagh.... Popped by Tower Records to say hi to Huifang working there, then the whole grp of us went down to the Fountain Of Wealth for a group photo. Left after that, the rest are still at a movie I guess...
Tired, thoughtful...tmr will be having a discussion with Winston and Yim regarding our T-shirt venture. Came up with another new design today. Somehow my designs are lacking something. I dunno what. They look too....generic? dead? Maybe it's coz I'm feeling too numb at the moment, I guess my designs are lacking...spirit?
Repairing (or attempting to repair) Weichang's laptop tmr. Some Trojan got in. Yawnz...think I better retire early tonight. Going to be a bz day...
