Been a rainy day, kinda summarised my day at camp...dark...stormy...
Weekend was rather plain, but well-spent. Tried my best to squeeze in as much as I could despite having duty on Friday and feeling a little groggy on Saturday after reaching home.
Sat was spent sleeping for first half of day. Gary came over in the afternoon to discuss t-shirts and whatnot..discussion got brought down to Orchard as we went to carry out more market research at Far East Plaza and a few other areas. Almost bought a 35-dollar t-shirt from Radioactive...but had to curb the urge for fear of another empty bank account. Met Yixin at night for dinner and collected my souvenir. Thx!! Reached home feeling rather stoned.
Sunday, woke up with a few things I had to do in mind. Haircut was settled at Bugis' QB House, although it ended up more of a trim..sigh. Met up with Yanling to check out the new NLB opp Bugis Junction. Crazy office building tower look-alike. Expected to find quite a treasure trove of information and more multimedia based categories and such. To my disappointment it contained like 10plus floors of refernece libraries, with the central lending library underground at B1. Sheeesh....and after all that big hoohaaa.... The basement looks incredibly messy due to the one-stop-find-every-kind-of-book setting. Think I'm too used to Toa Payoh library's splitting of the refernence, children and adults section on different floors....
Took a walk down to Sim Lim coz Yanling wanted to check out laptops to buy. Seemed just like yesterday when I was helping Hui Boon with her purchase of that monster..time sure flies. (to HB: remember Renova Technologies eh?) Decided to rule Fujitsu out due to its really limited support for multimedia usage. Acer and HP still seem to be the closest rivals, with Toshiba trailing close behind. I still wonder which I'll end up getting...
Weekend well spent, hope more exciting things come my way with NDP just around the corner. Still wanna bring people down to check out my buddies' performances(dog show display) at the NDP Carnival when it starts. Fireworks too anyone? =P
