| Start the New Year with a bang. |

Met up with Tienfa, Ervelyn and Aaron last night to catch the live performances at the Esplanade outdoor theatre. Supposed to include Winston as well but some miscommunication occured and he couldn't make it. Was expecting a very normal performance by Corrinne May(local singer based in LA) but turned out I was wrong.
Crowd thronged the place as early as 8.30pm although the show started only at 9pm. It was almost impossible to get a seat along the audience stands so we ended up standing under the beams making up the architectural structure of the shelter for the stage. The show went on as planned but Corrinne's voice was awesome. I was totally impressed by the fact that her vocals did not waver a single time in such a live performance as this. Comparing this to the loss of quality of modern pop singers when they go on stage is really amazing. It's just like hearing her sing on the cd, really fantastic. Last night's performance has made a fan out of me, and probably the few others who went with me. Think I'll get her cd soon.
Having a long weekend break for the hols. Will be going to Sim Lim later to help Hwee Zi recce for her new com, which I'll prob be building.
The countdown gathering on New Year's Eve was amazing btw. Thanks to those people who bothered to come. I'm sure uall would agree that it was a great way to spend the last night of 2004. Kudos to Fengrun, Junyi, Huifang and Hwee Zi. Had a sort of potluck dinner at my place with them, had a good catch up with everyone too. Although the gals had to leave early, I'm sure everyone enjoyed themselves. Ended up catching Inuyasha with Fengrun and Junyi, and when the show ended we counted down just for the sake of it..haha. By then the guys were trying to figure out how to get home, haha. Heard Fengrun had to walk home coz there wasn't any bus left right? Oops..hehe.
Anyway, a very Happy New Year to all, and wishing everyone the best in this brand new 12 months!
