Went out with my ex-bunkmates yesterday. Supposed to be a gathering after the 3 of us got posted out.
Met up with them at Party World Orchard after visitng my grandma at AH. Ric was there with his friend Foony. Also present were Edwin, Dom and Nic. Had a great time singing and juz relieving all that stress built-up. Never went to karaoke before...think I should go more often...feels great after all that yollering. The grand finale was freakin funny, the few of them started doing some crazy dancing to bubblegum pop (the videos are too distasteful to be posted here). Totally hilarious, i couldn't control the camera shake as I was laughing too hard while filming.
Nic drove us to this restaurant near Novena after KTV, Vines Restaurant I think it was called. Good food ok....people I recommend this place. Ambience was ok lar, quite a crowd in there, but rather homely to my surprise. For food reference plz refer to Ric's blog entry here. Had a ultra filling dinner for 17 bucks (inclusive of appetizer, main course, dessert, drink and free-flow ice water). Worth the money I tell you. Fong and Zhanhong joined us for dinner. Talked alot tru-out dinner, had a really gd time.
After dinner Fong and Zhanhong left for Lido to catch Star Wars Ep3 (may the force be with you!) while the rest of us went to Cineleisure hoping to find a place to bowl. Ended up the crazy place closed down liao, to the extent that the lift can't even go to the 6th floor anymore...power... Headed to Paradiz for pool, with a visit to Eski Bar in mind after that.
Left midway tru the game, got a litte late. No I don't have a curfew, but I felt it was time to go back home coz my mom and sis were home alone, and my grandma was in hospital. Wish I could have visited Eski Bar too..well next time perhaps?
