Been really tiring few wks. Sorry for the lack of updates, didn't feel quite up to blogging properly.
Had Engineer Skill At Arms competition that day. Lost horribly. Was participating in some funny obstacle race...hehe. Dumb.. Anyway had a day off after that so was ok, especially after the tiring week of sweeps.
This week's been kinda slow-paced to make up for the last one, so I'm kinda glad. Monday to Wednesday was uneventful, with me suddenly being tasked to work on some project with Fong for my boss. Now I get to use the com in camp! Wee!
Haha, Thursday I went for SADM's Faculty Test. Met Mark and Kim Siang there. Was a disaster, with my lack of ability to manage time resulting in an unfinished paper. Shit, why do I always regret after things happen... Went to meet Qiaomei after that at her hostel for lunch. Was intro-ed to her roommate (paiseh forgot to ask for name =P) with whom she was mugging with. Food was surprisingly cheap, and tasted quite home-cooked. Perhaps that's why the canteen's located in the hostel? (to make the students feel at home..)
Friday was Engineer Formation Athletics Meet. Being already out of any competing events, I just went there to cheer the rest of my buddies on with the whole unit. We came in 2nd overall, quite an achievement for a small unit like us. Got 3 days off for participating...woopie!
Next week is my standby week, so won't be back as regularly as I want to. Got some additional projects to do for Boss also, so yep. Will be mentally drained I suppose, coz even the weekend will be gone to standy. Pray siren doesn't go off....please.....
