Just finished a shoot last Wednesday for my Cinematography class. Exciting period Chinese rendition of an American script. I was the Art Director and part time Gaffer, and the set got me working hard indeed. Thanks to the rest of the crew and especially the cast for making it a sensational one day shoot. Rest of crew role-call: Dir-Minghui, DOP-Joseph, Cam asst-Alicia, Grip-Kexin, Sound Recordist-Miaoqin. Cast: Alex-Jason, Nancy-Ren Rong, Coop-Danny, Celine-Shiqi. Here are some behind the scenes pics.
L-R: Ren Rong and Jason as Nancy and Alex, Minghui in foreground
Miaoqin and Joseph
Director Minghui explaining the scene to the cast
L-R: Joseph, Kexin and Alicia
Miaoqin (aka Tomb Raider) doing what she does best
Jason on the drums (Rock on Obi Wan!)
Danny and Shiqi play Coop and Celine
The broken branch that served as our shadow prop
Full cast take a curtain call.
Thanks you everyone for making the shoot a success despite the over-run and lack of time. =)Labels: production, school
