Forget the title, couldn't find a better word to describe my feelings. NS just limited my vocab, eeks. Anyway feel quite ashamed about failing my driving test 5 times. Our course time frame just ended, and thus I'm considered OOC(NS lingo:out of coruse) Going back to unit to wait for news. The worst that can happen is revocation, usually wtihin the combat engineers. I really love the life here and hope I don't get posted out. It's really worrying, was rather depressed the other day. Thx to friends both on and offline for the counselling..sigh.
Failure aside, this wkend has been a fulfilling one. Got an art club committee gathering going on last night. Unfortunately it wasn't the committee in its whole. Ended up at Chinatown with Ave and Yanling eating hawker fare, on the famed overhead bridge. Food was better than I expected, and definitely within my budget. A little hard-up on cash these days, after the upgrading of my com a few wks ago.
Managed a primary school class gathering today. This wkend's gathering mania for me..haha. Attendance wasn't as fabulous as I wanted it to be, but it's getting really difficult to coodinate everyone's schedules, doing my best here k.... Spent a long time deciding where to eat after meeting up in city hall. Agreed on Marina Square Kenny Roger's. Heh, Evelyn does look different, haven't seen her for about 2 years. The guys are still NS-ish, and Qiaomei still looks about the same. All our class gals are getting really classy-looking tru-out the years..haha, really different from what I remember them to be in pri sch. People had to leave after our(already late) lunch, leaving Melvyn, Qiaomei and I to settle for some after-meal entertainment, which took form in a movie. Garfield being the consensus, and thus we wandered off to the not-so-conveniently located GV marina. A sign proclaiming the fact that some drilling might be heard halfway tru the film due to renovation works really irked me. Fortunately a rebate was included in the package..which made it look rather pointless anyway. Haha, and so the 1.5 hrs movie eventually ended, and we 3 had a pretty good time laughing at the antics of that fat ginger cat and the escapades of his supposedly not so chick-magnet owner Jon. Weird thing is he got Jennifer Love Hewitt in the end. Watz this world coming to???
Yep, so far so good. Booking in on Monday for once. Gotta get up early tmr morn. Working on HUES tonite. Can't wait for news on my fate to arrive once I get into camp tmr. Wish me luck ppl. Cya!
